Patents, Prototypes, and Translation

A significant strength of ESE is that multiple faculty groups do not stop at publication. Their work often leads to patents, deployable prototypes, hardware demonstrators, industrial technology transfer, or field-linked validation. This is visible across wide-bandgap and advanced semiconductor technologies, 2D materials, secure chips, QRNG and photonic systems, AI accelerators, neuromorphic hardware, medical systems, and embedded / industrial platforms.
