Research Thrust

Power Electronics Group at the Department of Electronics system Engineering IISc is working in the areas of Industrial drives, micro-grids, renewables and power electronic applications to power systems. The research carried out by the group includes analysis, modeling, simulation, control, design, fabrication, reliability calculation and evaluation of power electronic systems over a wide range of power levels. The group interacts closely with industries and universities inside and outside India.
