Pravega stands as IISc's flagship annual festival, organized entirely by undergraduates, serving as a vibrant celebration that brings together the institute's academic excellence with cultural exuberance. Starting in 2013, Pravega has evolved into one of India's largest science-technology fests, typically held in early February. The festival is structured around five major facets: Sci-Tech, Culturals, Carvaan (city outreach program), Aaghaaz, and Pronites (evening performances).

The Sci-Tech component showcases rigorous scientific engagement through specialized quiz competitions including Decoherence (Physics), Chemenigma (Chemistry), BioBlitz (Biology), Enumeration (Mathematics), and the popular Quadsparks quiz for high school students. Beyond quizzes, the innovation segment features a Hackathon and Innovation Summit where students can showcase groundbreaking technological advancements. The festival also hosts major exhibitions from IISc laboratories, displaying cutting-edge research and demonstrations that bridge the gap between academic research and public understanding.

The Culturals track offers an array of competitions spanning music, dance, drama, and various artistic forms, providing platforms for both IISc students and external participants to exhibit their talents. Pronites, the three-day music festival, features spectacular performances from acclaimed artists, creating memorable evenings filled with diverse musical genres.
