A department-linked EV-focused initiative can be positioned around power electronics, sensing, battery and embedded systems, secure electronics, and intelligent infrastructure relevant to electric mobility. Given ESE’s strengths in GaN, power devices, reliability, cyber-physical systems, and embedded intelligence, this is a natural translational direction.
